Final Bash of the Summer
As a fitting end to the year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of Lake Heritage, the BBQ Bash was a great way to bring together families and meet neighbors while having a fun time. As one committee member observed, “in over 20 years, I’ve never seen this many residents together at one event”. Estimates are 350 to 375 people attended. Residents of all ages enjoyed the games, face painting, barbecue, cake, cookies, and the cooperating weather. And who could forget our own Agnes Reuter bravely surviving the dunk tank! Many lake residents volunteered to assist with all aspects of the event and generously gave their time to help ensure everyone had a great time. What a great way to end the summer!
By the way, our questionnaire regarding the BBQ-Bash is still up and running on the lakeheritage.org website. We sure would like to have additional feedback which we will share with future committee involved in any event like the BBQ-Bash. If you did attend, please take a minute or two to fill in and submit the form. Here’s the questionnaire’s URL. https://lakeheritage.org/?p=1627 This link will remain active until 12/14/2015.
