Community Amenities

Approximately 750 acres in size with a 154 acre man-made lake, Lake Heritage has many amenities to offer its residents.

Our Amenities Include

Community Center

The Community Center is a hub of Lake Heritage’s indoor events and activities. It is a spacious, well-appointed, comfortable room with complete kitchen facilities that allow for large parties and gatherings of every type and description. Find out more.

Playground & Picnic Areas

There are several playgrounds and picnic areas nearby the lake proper. They are suitable for picnics, barbecues, and family reunions. Find out more.

Pool & Tennis Courts

The Lake Heritage pool is next to the Lake Heritage office and the Community Center. Prior to opening for each new season, there is always a burst of activity, washing, scrubbing, painting, checking out equipment to make sure that the pool is ready. Find out more.

Other Recreation

For avid walkers, the Lake Heritage community has walking trails and miles of roads through quiet clusters of homes. We also have basketball, shuffleboard, and baseball facilities. Find out more.

Lake Recreation Area Amenities Available to the Members:

Pavilions with picnic tables and grills (there are no grills at the Community Center) are located at lots 79, 89, 488, Community Center, and the Shady Grove (located at the front entrance). These areas may be reserved one (1) day per month through the office and there is no charge for the use of the pavilions.

Basketball, Shuffleboard, and Baseball

The basketball and shuffleboard courts can be found (at the point) right next to the Community Center and are open to all residents. Shuffleboard equipment can be obtained from the office, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

We also have Volleyball Courts at Shady Grove and the Pool.

Shuffleboard Court: Two (2) deluxe continental sets (4 cues, 8 discs, scoreboard, carrier, set of rules etc…) are available for member use at the community center.

Contact the gatehouse at 334-7301 (7 days a week) to obtain access to the equipment.

Basketball Court: Equipment provided by member.

Tennis Court: Equipment provided by member. Gate open with sign in sheet. First come, first serve.

Playgrounds: Lot 89 – swing set; Lot 488 – swing set, sliding board and jungle gym; the point – playground assembly and Shady Grove at front entrance – ark and swing set.

Volleyball Courts: Located at Shady Grove and by the pool. Equipment provided by member.

Horse Shoe Pits:  Shady Grove. Set of horseshoes located at gatehouse (7 days per week).

Boat Launch Ramp and Canoe Racks: Community Boat Launch Ramp is located at lot 222 Heritage Drive and the following locations contain racks for canoe storage:

The Pirate Ship at Shady Grove

Rules & Regulations: Curfew for all recreation areas is 12:00 midnight and lifted at sunup. “Guests must be accompanied by a property owner, their spouse, or members of their immediate family residing at the same address as the dues paying members” and assume responsibility for their guest’s activities.

Restrooms: Exterior restrooms are available at the Shady Grove Recreation Area and at the community center.  Restrooms open at 7:00 A.M. and close at sunset.

Work Orders: If a member encounters a needed repair on any recreation area or common owned property, please fill out a “work order” at the office or on the LHPOA Website.
