by Ed Kushner, President of LHPOA Board of Directors
When we last communicated regarding the Annual Meeting, we had hoped that May 15th would be an opportunity to meet. With the ongoing Coronavirus conditions in Pennsylvania and the related executive orders from the Governor, May 15th will not be an option. In order to pick a time with a higher probability for success, the Board of Directors has rescheduled the Annual Meeting to Friday, September 25, 2020. The Board of Directors has taken this action because they believe it is in the best interest of the health and safety of all members. If Coronavirus conditions change going forward, we may need to re-evaluate the September date for our Annual Meeting. Members need to feel comfortable and safe during any potential face to face gathering and we need to follow the Governor’s orders.
Because of this state of emergency, our technology and communications committees and our office staff are exploring options to allow members to continue to be informed/engaged remotely to monitor Lake Heritage BOD and committee activities.
We all look forward to getting back to normal. Until then, all members need to be patient and understand that we are in a state of emergency and need to adjust our plans and react as current events dictate.
