by LHPOA Board of Directors
Due to local, state, and national measures to control the COVID-19 pandemic, many graduation ceremonies have been canceled. So residents can acknowledge a student’s academic accomplishments, all LHPOA residents will be given an exemption to Article VII, Signs, and be permitted to display a sign on their property associated with any student that is graduating in the 2020 academic school year. There will be no requirement to make a request. The theme of the sign should be specific to celebrating a student’s graduation. The sign dimensions should be similar to a realtor or contractor sign and can be no more than 3 feet above ground level. One sign can be displayed for each graduating student in a family. Signs can be displayed from May 15, 2020, until July 15, 2020. If a resident has a subsequent graduation celebration at their residence during 2020, a sign complying with the above referenced specifications may be displayed the day of the celebration.
A banner will be displayed at the main entrance congratulating Lake Heritage graduates. A subsequent banner will be displayed thanking all those who are helping during this Coronavirus emergency.
