Lake Heritage Property Owners’ Association Hires New Attorney

Due to the January 1 retirement of the LHPOA attorney, John Phillips, the Board approved Adam Boyer as new counsel at the November Board meeting.  Adam is a member of the Gettysburg law office of Puhl, Eastman and Thrasher.  He is an Adam’s County native, a graduate of Penn State and Temple University Law School.  Adam will be attending the monthly board meetings as well as advising and working with the community manager and the board as necessary.  Adam was chosen after interviews with several lawyers and law firms.

With heartfelt appreciation and regret, the Board honored attorney John Phillips at the December  board meeting upon his retirement.  John was presented with a plaque that contained a key to Lake Heritage and a gift certificate to take his wife to dinner.  It is hoped that in a small way, this will make up for all the dinners John missed when he was at the monthly evening  board meetings attending to LHPOA.  John has been the community attorney for many years following in the footsteps of his father.  John worked with both the community manager and board directors over the years to navigate through legal issues.  His wise counsel, guidance and gentlemanly manner will be missed.
