New Swings at The Point Playground

Contributed by Justen Carr, Chair, Recreation and Property Review Committee

LHPOA is moving forward with the Recreation and Property Review Committee’s (RPRC) plan to install a two belt-seat and one tot-seat swing set at The Point playground. After obtaining three quotes, the RPRC agreed to go with George Ely Associates, Inc for $2139.08. The new set will match the color scheme of the existing playground equipment.

To meet Federal Safety Guideline, Maintenance will extend the playground’s sand area towards the water’s edge before they proceed with the installation the new piece of equipment. Then, the tire swing will be re-installed in the area by the tree.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of June 2019
