November 5th Blood Drive : 29 Pints Collected

Betsy Meyer, the association’s coordinator for our blood drives, acting on behalf of the Lake Heritage Women’s Club, reports that we had a very successful drive on Monday, November 5th. Twenty-nine pints of blood were collected which greatly pleased the Red Cross. We have four blood drives per year, always at the Community Center.

If you are the kind to plan ahead, the next blood drive is Wednesday, January 2nd from 12:30 to 6:30 in the Community Center. Please email if you would like to make an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Winston Churchill stated, “I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.” There is no need for the toil, tears or sweat. We only want your blood ; – )
