Sylvan Hershey nominated and approved as LHPOA’s President

At the annual re-organization meeting of the Lake Heritage Property Owner’s Association, second year director Sylvan Hershey was approved as the president of LHPOA’a Board of Directors and veteran director Matt Verdirame was named Vice President. To round of the list of officers, long serving Barbara Keyton, having just won another three years as a director was named Secretary and Tom Gary, Treasurer. Various directors were named chairs of committee and new committee, the Water Fowl Committee was newly constituted. At director Ernie Clevinger’s urging, the association has a new club, the Dog Park Club, which will be the driving force in the financing, construction and maintenance of the newly proposed facility.

The meeting was sparsely attended and the directors outnumbered the public throughout. While governance plays a vital role in Lake Heritage, the meetings might not be the hottest ticket in town. Barbara Keyton, Ron Brown and Ed Wargo were sworn in at the re-organization meeting as directors to three year terms and each was assigned duties beyond the core that are common to all directors. The next regular meeting of the Board of Directors will be on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 7 pm. Usually, meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 pm.
